Decani or Visoki Decani is a medieval town in the western part of Kosovo. Remarkable building in the town is the Orthodox monastery of Visoki Decani, registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Decani has the potential to become a notable tourist destination.

Settled on the banks of Ibar and Sitnica rivers, the city is important cultural center. Isa Beg’s Mosque, St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, Ruins of St. Peter’s Basilica Church , Albanian Catholic Church and Museum of Mitrovica are most significant cultural objects.

For the first time, Peja was mentioned in the era of Illyria and today the city is known as the “City of basketball”. The architecture in Peja show different architectural styles, from the medieval Serbian, Ottoman, Yugoslavian, and contemporary architecture. Because of this there are many monuments from each historical period.

Gracanica is a town placed in central Kosovo around the Gracanica Monastery which represents an outstanding example of medieval architecture. This town hosts the Ulpiana archaeological site, an ancient Roman city, and the historic 13th century Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Gracanica.

Beautifully located town, in a valley of the Sharr Mountain and on the banks of River Bistrica, is Kosovo’s best kept secret. For those who are interested in history, culture and tradition, Prizren will be refreshing destination. The most important monuments in the city are Shadervani, Fortress of Prizren, Višegrad Fortress, Hammam of Gazi Mehmet Pasha an The Mosque of Sinan Pasha.

Pristina, capital of Kosovo represents the fast-changing city that feels full of potential. The Sahat Tower, Mother Theresas Square, Çarshi Mosque, the Imperial Fatih Mosque, or Jašar Paša Mosque are just some of the attractions that captivate every tourist.
